Kenny Burns’ 20 plus year career started as a party promoter in college and has since organically woven across the entertainment, music, fashion, spirits, radio, television, and marketing industries.

Early in his career, he worked with the likes of songstress Monica, living legend Jay-Z, and his first music concept…Dream, the female Pop group with the highest debut at #2 on the Hot 100 Billboard chart only behind the Spice Girls.

As an executive, he continued to achieve platinum success with Mariah Carey’s Monarch Music, signing international music superstar Akon, discovering fellow Washingtonian hip-hop artist Wale, and becoming Vice President of the iconic hip-hop music label Roc-A-Fella Records.

His passion to create led to RyanKenny, the 2nd Black American apparel line ever retailed in Saks Fifth Avenue and the development of his first documentary B.U.R.N.S. (Be Ultimately Real Never Sellout) that premiered at the 2010 ABFF (American Black Film Festival).

During his time as radio host of The Kenny Burns Show (TKBS) on Atlanta’s V-103, his tenacity for success earned him the highest rated weekend show to date and made him one of the most sought after hosts in the US. Kenny Burns’ unconventional expertise has been trusted by some of the world’s greatest brands, including Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, AXE, Moët Hennessy, Heineken, and Grey Goose® Vodka to name a few.

In 2013, he joined mogul Sean “P Diddy” Combs to lend his skills to Mr. Combs’ business portfolio that included Bad Boy, REVOLT TV, Aquahydrate, DeLeón Tequila, and CÎROC Vodka.

In 2016, Burns, his wife, Jessica, and their two sons, Kyle and Kenny, created a streetwear fashion brand, BRNS Lifestyle. The apparel line was inspired by the classic Washington DC 80's MADNESS retail shop and their sons' love for streetwear fashion.

In 2018, he partnered with Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey to honor the best whiskey maker the world never knew, until now. Uncle Nearest is now the fastest growing independently owned American Whiskey in History!
